Would it not be more advantageous for the Client to consider hosting an event where 100% of the costs are tax-qualifying? This could include flights, meetings, and team activities structured in a way that aligns with allowable business expenses.
Please also be aware that any internal event planning may trigger a Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax liability, which should be taken into account during the planning process.
