Getting the right advice is priceless

When Planning Offsite Meeting

There’s nothing that comes close to an offsite employee experience.

You may decide to improve camaraderie. Or, you may aim to build team spirit. We know what it takes…

So what does it take?

Event logistics can often be a minefield. Buying off-the-shelf team-building packages isn’t the answer. Results aren’t based on the event. They’re often based on having someone to plan an event. The event is subject to attendee profiles. Hence the same event, with different professions equates to a different outcome. This is because people assume the event makes it successful. They don’t grasp how to best match the needs of the organisers to the attending delegates.

Full onsite support is a rule. Many organizers fail to deliver it. A point person is essential for guidance and aligning the event to fixed timings.

Transport is another issue. The distance from the office. Decide whether you need to hire a private coach (These range from 30 to 50 seaters) or

Group Flights Ticketing is spending on events that are two days overseas. Here you can have the group meet before departure. It’s at the airport departure lounge.

There will be a Meet & Greet at the airport. Then, there will be coach transportation to the selected hotel with quick check-in. If you need it, lunch or dinner will be ready when you arrive. It will account for dietary requirements.

Hotel Accommodation speedy check-in is a standard feature. A venue for the meeting, set up to be pre-arranged with itinerary. We need to decide on the perfect group event. It should fit everyone’s interests and mobility.

We can also set up for business meetings. The set-up depends on the room size you need. Also, let us know if you need any break-out rooms or spaces. Also timings for any break where refreshments are available on standby.

Workshop Trainers are often pre-chosen by the clients we work alongside. They must provide motivation, education, and inspiration. These things build a better understanding of the topics at hand.

Catering can be a nearby restaurant. Or, it can be the venue’s in-house caterers. Catering is subject to dietary requests.

You can use your imagination to plan activities. They can be for any kind of client, from well-being to high-octane fun. For example, Sailing, Treasure Hunts, Beach Sports, Landbased building events, etc

Many planners do not include flexibility, free time, and networking within event schedules. Remember, the trip’s participants may not have travelled before. Self-exploring a location can relax and educate them about what they have experienced.

Who Pays is a topic that is seldom covered. The idea is that team building events handled by an in-house organiser may incur a BENEFIT IN KIND tax. Business profits would pay the tax. Our office can turn such events into tax-qualifying programs. They can often offset an organisation’s corporation tax.

Ask us first

What is the STICK & CARROT approach

Stick & Carrot

Many years ago, history dictated that incentives were a good thing. The earliest example was tying up a carrot to the end of a stick and placing it in front of the vision of a donkey. The result was that the donkey would move toward the carrot. In today’s society, we refer to this as an incentive. It could be a reward holiday voucher. Or, it could be a travel team-building adventure. It’s aimed at motivating or inspiring a group.

Our office is happy to work alongside any existing marketing or HR department. We create marketing concepts that help promote internal harmony, boosting profits.

Taking the sting out of business event planning

Working alongside HR departments, personnel, and executive assistants is considered a normal state of business where we take instructions on what, where, and how.

In return, we design suitable NON-OBLIGATION programs including flights that are targeted to excite, inspire, and leave lasting memories.

Two policy options on all corporate group event programs.

The first is a fixed management fee. It is set at the start of any contract between the client and our office. The second option is to take a percentage of the final amount spent by the client on an event. Both examples allow the client to get the best market price. (Guaranteed to beat any cost when done).

NO FEES CHARGED via our retail travel arm. This is because we get a commission on leisure businesses introduced by tour operators.

The key to having fun is sharing a positive experience with another or a group where the outcome is an improvement.

Personalised programs are offered through the brand whether for individuals, small social groups, or even business travel incentives across the globe. We also offer shared group excursions. Nothing beats an event that leads to, a more enlightened positive feeling inside. You only need to ask us…

FunEvents.com is a professional organisation approved by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC). Event management service qualifies as a tax-deductible expense. This means you can claim tax relief on any business fees paid. They must be relevant and helpful to your job. This will help you reduce your corporation and VAT tax bill.
