Day 1 Arrival in Krakow

Arrival at the Krakow airport, meeting with the bus driver and
accommodation in the *** + / **** central hotel in Krakow. Free evening

Day 2 Visit to Krakow

_8.00 _ Breakfast at the hotel.

_9.00 _ Visit to Krakow (with a local guide, on foot, without
transport), which is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in
Poland. Wawel Hill, Wawel Royal Castle (without access to the royal
apartments) and Renaissance courtyard (free entrance), cathedral (with
entrance), Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture of
the Old Town in Krakow (Old Town), Collegium Maius – the oldest building
of the Jagiellonian University, the largest Market Square in Europe
(Main Square), Town Hall Tower, large Market Square (Sukiennice), Santa
Maria-Mariacki church (with the entrance) with the wooden altar of Vito
Stossa, a short section of the city wall at the gate of San Floriano and
Barbacana. Walk through the narrow streets of Krakow’s Old Town. During
the visit: a multimedia presentation of the history of amber – Polish
gold. In 1978, UNESCO placed the Old Town in Krakow on its first world
heritage list.

_15.00 _ Visit to the Kazimierz district, the former Jewish district of
Krakow, the center of

religious and social life in Jewish Krakow for the mass deportation of
the local Jewish community during the German occupation (entrance to 2
synagogues).

_20.00 _ Possible dinner with a concert of Polish folklore (concert
quoted separately – this is an optional service if the group wants …):
dinner 15 eur / person. Concert 200 eur / group. If you have other
groups (who knows), the concert price will be reduced …

Day 3 Kraków – Oświęcim-Brzezinka (Auschwitz-Birkenau) – Wieliczka –
Kraków

_7.00 _ Breakfast at the hotel.

_7.30 _ Departure from Krakow to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum
(Oświęcim-Brzezinka).

_9.00 _ A visit (with a local camp guide) to the territory of the former
German concentration and extermination camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau, built
by the Germans during the German occupation in Poland. In this area,
during World War II, the Germans killed over a million people of
different nationalities, mainly Jews. Today, it remains a place
inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

_12.30 _ Possible lunch at the restaurant: 15 eur / person.

_14.00 _ Departure to Wieliczka.

_15.40 _ Visit to the Wieliczka salt mine with a local guide – one of
the oldest operating salt mines in the world, functioning since the
Middle Ages, also known for its long

tourist tradition: a very healthy place was visited in previous
centuries by authors: Mikołaj Kopernik (Copernicus), Johann Wolfgang
von Goethe, Dmitri Mendeleev, Bolesław Prus, Ignacy Paderewski, Karol
Wojtyła, etc. In 1978, the Wieliczka Salt Mine was inscribed on the
UNESCO World Heritage List. The Wieliczka Mine creates an underground
city with the largest underground chapel in the world (St. Kinga), with
lakes and tunnels.

_18.00 _ Departure from Wieliczka to Krakow.

_20.00_ Possible dinner. Dinner with a concert of Jewish Klezmer music
(concert quoted separately – this is an optional service if the group

Day 4 Krakow – Pieniny and Dunajec – Zakopane – Krakow

_7.30 _ Breakfast at the hotel.

_8.00 _ Departure from Krakow to Sromowce Wyżne.

_10.00 _ Rafting on the Dunajec River, which flows between the
picturesque Pieniny gorges. Navigating the ravine on these traditional
rafts (wooden logs connected into a raft), led by carriers, is an
attraction full of emotions, truly unforgettable, considered one of the
biggest tourist attractions in Europe.

_13.00 _ Possible lunch at the restaurant in Szczawnica, at the end of
the raft route: 15 eur / person.

_14.00_ Departure to Dębno Podhalański, stop and visit of a Gothic
church from the 15th century made of colorful wood on the ceilings in
accordance with the Gothic tradition and the polyptych depicting, among
others Madonna and Saint Archangel Michael (inscribed on UNESCO World
Heritage List).

_15.00 _ Departure to Zakopane.

_16.00 _ Zakopane – the capital of Polish mountains, with a free tour of
the city (without a guide) and a cable car trip to Gubałówka, from
where you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the Tatra Mountains.

_19.00 _ Return to Krakow. Or dinner organized in Zakopane with a
concert of highlanders (15-20 eur / person)

Day 5 Krakow – departure

Morning breakfast at the hotel.
Check-out and departure for the airport for the flight.
