Isolation in later years can often feel like no one cares. Especially having to experience an empty home that once was a hive of personalities. With only a TV set as a companion at their disposal.
Please note that this is not a government-funded project or directly connected to any charity but what we try and offer is creating days that add a benefit, where people come to value camaraderie. It’s the potential of creating bonding experiences that have real people value.
One way of describing isolation for many who will never experience it firsthand is that it’s like being on a solo business trip and having no one share your space, dining, or laughter. We’re just trying to help many rediscover happiness as it has real needs and value

PRE-PAYMENT & POLICY ON REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Tour dates are shown above and are also sent via Email to everyone who has pre-registered.
The pre-payment method creates a winning solution where for those that allow the individuals to just call and confirm their seat/s.
We do not offer any refund on travel (except where journeys are cancelled by our office) once payment has been linked and confirmed for a set travel date.

Devon Coach Trips is focused on forming social connections within the group. These are made up entirely of individuals, couples, and friends. The success of these events is based on allowing individuals opportunities to meet real people, exchange life stories, and have fun.
Too many coach touring company programs are based on locations for private enjoyment rather than focused enough on fun for individuals.

For those that wish to continue socialising, we have a 3rd Venue only walking distance from Exeter St. Davids.
3rd Location: OPTIONAL EXETER BREWERY
A private large space has been reserved with a cash bar to allow people to mix and mingle within their open space surroundings.
Tickets MUST be bought in advance. We do not accept any “PAY AND GO” options for this service on the departure day. You must be registered on our mailing list.
Information
Feeling good feels great
Meeting new friends becomes harder the older an individual becomes because of two factors. The first is when someone close has moved on and the second is when self-isolation starts creeping in which for many is a frightening thought.
Enhancing any type of non-judgemental friendship that inspires wellness and confidence in an individual is always going to be seen as a welcome sign. Personalities define a generation over any kind of financial success. Passenger ‘name badges’ are provided to everyone. The aim is to help make self-introductions between those attending our events easy.
Solo passengers are always encouraged to bring a companion. From a family member, a friend, or even a carer. Journey comfort breaks are provided. ‘Reasonable’ assistance is offered with mobility where necessary, but passengers would need to be able to climb steps unaccompanied.
Fate changes strangers into friends
Unlike other coach trips focused on holidays, this service focuses on social interaction amongst seniors as a way of enhancing group camaraderie. There are visual and wellness benefits to being able, to get out and meet new people within a shared environment. Our journeys start and end at Exeter St. Davids.

We accept applications from individuals who prefer to use their own vehicles. In doing so, we are happy to reduce the cost by £5.00 per person.
GETTING YOU OUT THERE…
Months of self-isolation, have meant that many of us need to get out and meet new people. One shared fact is true… As we get older, one’s circle of premium friends is reduced and for many including seniors, it’s meant becoming isolated…
PETS POLICY
However much we may love our pets, sadly, due to the health and safety of the remaining passengers and their allergies, we can not accept them on any tour event. Allowing this would prevent anyone with an allergy from attending and enjoying a fun day out.
