We offer two types of group tours.

(1) 30’s – 90’s Mystery Tours (FOR ALL)
** social connections for mature adults
** social clubs and groups across Devon
** care and residential home services

 

(2) 21’s – 50’s Singles Mystery Tours (NEW)

 

Tour distances are approx 25 – 30 mile radius of Exeter, Devon. The current cost per person for scheduled full day trips that include a light lunch is £54 person.


We recommend travellers sign up early due to the scheme being launched on a first come, first serve basis.

Offical update to whether coach tours can go ahead –  24 Sept 2020

“If it is possible to ensure that groups of more than six do not mingle on a tour, coach tours of over six people on the coach can go ahead. People must stay in their groups of up to six (or larger if they are from one household) on all parts of the tour – for example whilst in hospitality settings and when visiting attractions as well as whilst on the coach.”

* RESTRICTED BUBBLE – HEALTH & SAFETY – Our day scenic mystery tour excursions are exclusive offers available to long standing DEVON residents. This decision was made to help restrict any type of cross border infections. We are currently NOT accepting any passenger bookings out of this region. Current collection points: Ottery St. Mary & Exeter

* There is no mandatory requirement for face masks on private hire, when the coach is booked on a dry hire basis.  However, in circumstances where different families, groups and individuals occupy a shared vehicle it is mandatory that face masks be worn, especially when talking to strangers on board. There will also be regular comfort breaks that allow passengers to stretch their legs.

* When boarding the coach, passengers will be given their thin rubber gloves. This helps prevent them touching other seating whilst moving up or down the isle of the coach.

* Our social distancing allows for a maximum 29 seat occupancy plus the host which totals 30 people onboard a 53 seater vehicle.

* In the event of several pick-up points, travellers will need to start filling up the rear of the coach first, as this helps to minimise close contact.

* Seating arrangements first row behind driver to be left clear unless vehicle fitted with a protective screen (We have 2 private hire vehicles already fitted). The remaining passenger seats to 1m+ so window seats and any family members or carers will be able to sit together.

* There will be no mixing of any persons outside those registered on the passenger manifest / track and trace sheet. A copy of everyone onboard is sent to the coach operator.

To help minimise exposure with general people outside the tour group, (excluding regular comfort breaks), passengers will spend a large part of their time travelling.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - HYGIENE

Q. As people move through the isle, it is expecte that they will be touching every seat by default and leaving imprints on the seats?

A. We will address this question in two parts

  • (1) Prior to boarding the coach, everyone will be provided a set of blue surgical gloves which they are expected to wear everytime they travel along the isle of the coach
  • (2) The inside of the coach is given a coating of ‘Biocide’ as an Aqueous coating. This remans active for upto seven days.The acqueous coating is hard wearing and creates a clear coat of active biocide which can only be removed by cleaning with a strong bleach, disinfectant or simply worn away. (Similar to an active coating of clear varnish). If 1000’s of people rub the hand rail in the same spot continuiously then that area coating, at some point will be worn away (just as varnish would be). If no one rubbed their hand on the rail, it would stay active for over 30 days.PLEASE NOTE THAT EVERY COACH LEAVING THE DARTLINE GARAGE IS RE-SANITISED SUBJECT TO USAGE – DAILY & WEEKLY SLOTS.

FunEvents.com – (In association with Dartline Coaches & Ottery Travel) are offering scenic mystery tours exploring a range of locations across the SW of England. Our schedule program program allowes individuals to enjoy the company of others in saftey whilst digesting the views of a shared tour program.

THIS IS NOT A DATING SERVICE
Our Singles’ tours (We call these Single2Mingle) are a safe way to meet others during these times of COVID safety. The invitation is open to everyone including LGBTQ+. We can only offer 30 seats on a 53 seater coach. The aim is for fellow travellers to enjoy a day out. Nightclubs and Bars may be restricted but our coach tours are using COVID protocols to keep everyone safe. For purposes of shared twin seating and in order to safeguard maximum usage of seating space, an individual may bring along one friend that is within their bubble.

  • Maximum group attendance is subject to permitted government acceptance (30 People), any pre-deposits that may have been paid are refunded fully on cancelled events.

    100% Non refund policy if cancelled within 14 days from travel date.
    50% Non refund policy if cancelled within 30 days from travel date.

    Should an individual confirm their reservation and decide not to show at an agreed leaving time (We always allow 15-20 minutes margin time for traffic), then the individual will lose any monies paid.
