What is a Race Night?

A Race Night is one of the most exciting and effective ways of both fundraising and bringing people together - not only will it give those attending an event to remember, but should it be used as a fund raiser, it will probably produce far more funds than most other traditional events you may have tried.

The idea is that guests are invited to place bets on the horse using funny money that has been pre-supplied or exchanged for cash. No cash is ever handed out to any winner as prize. However a prize like a bottle of champagne may be offered to the most successful applicant on the night.  

A film is selected at random by one of the audience after the betting is complete. The seal is then broken and the film projected onto the screen. That's when the excitement really begins as members cheer on their own horse. It's as simple as that. To help enhance the atmosphere, the team at Funevents are quite happy the theme the room, giving it that touch of atmosphere.
