Murder Mysteries

TEAM BUILDING THAT INSPIRES . . .

It worth mentioning that there many different types of Murder Mysteries around, therefore it's important to find the right one that suits you. If unsure, simply ask.

We offer you two choices, the first, marked (1) is a more serious clue finding task that is more involved and would be considered more of a team building activity.

The second marked by (2) further down this page  works more as a light hearted yet organised cabaret show, however, the show isn't complete without key  roles being played by those certain individuals hidden within the audience. It could be your boss !!!

Both are excellent in their own right, however only one can work for you...  Are you looking for clues already ?

(1) - Serious Team Building Activity

A MURDER MYSTERY involves teams of "detectives" who attempt to solve a deadly who-dunn'it! The challenge is to answer three questions; WHO committed the murder,

HOW and WHY?

A Murder Mystery is ideally accompanied by a meal or buffet and begins with the audience witnessing scripted scenes featuring events that took place before the murder was committed. These scenes introduce the audience to the Victim and Suspects and present many vital clues. The audience in their teams then meet each of the Suspects who join them at their tables. At this point the teams can INTERROGATE the Suspects and will be marked on their performance as a team of super sleuthing Detectives.

After watching further scenes and a final chance to question the Suspects the teams are invited to submit their solution. The evening ends with the performance of the actual murder and the announcement of the winning team.

A Murder Mystery is a unique blend of theatre and audience participation with the emphasis on a "FUN EVENT!" With the actors as Suspects and the audience as teams of detectives, We produce an evening of compulsive entertainment!

A Murder Night is an ideal evenings entertainment suitable for all types of venue and for audiences ranging in size from 10 to 200. Our requirements are minimal and our format is flexible in order to cope with wide-ranging client demands.

(2) -

An Alternative Cabaret Event That's Light Hearted and Promises To Be
Lots Of Fun...

THE SCRIPT " The Hooray Girl   © "

  Dawn Richards
Dawn is a star vocalist on the British cabaret circuit. The Hollywood film company Lion Oaramount are about to make a musical of the smash hit Broadway show "The Hooray Girl" a hundred million dollar production. The producers of the film wanted an "unknown" British girl to play the lead. After auditioning hundreds of girls in London the fabulous part had been given to Dawn. She is set to become an International Star and a millionairess. She flies to Los Angeles to start rehearsals and filming next week. Following release of the film Dawn has been contracted to the 5 big hit numbers from the show. These will sell millions.
.
.
   Ted Williams
Ted is Dawn Manager, or he been because their contract expires in 14 days. Having managed Dawn for 5 years, and having taken her career this far, Ted is being cast aside as Dawn is appointed a new manager in San Francisco. Whilst it is obvious Ted would be "out of his league" in the USA he is bitter at his rejection. Just as "his girl" is about to become rich and famous Ted will have no share of the riches that abound.
Is this cause for murder ?
.
.
  Megan Jones
Megan is in tonight's audience. She is the understudy for Dawn film part. It was Megan that Dawn beat in the final audition before the film producers. Of course the Welsh girl knows that if anything happened to Dawn, then she (Megan) would star in the film.
Would Megan murder for the Ambition ?
.
.
  Tony Clark
Tony is also here tonight. He is Megan's manager for another 4 years on contract. How he would love to have his girl the star of the film. He would make millions having sole rights to 20% of Megan's income. Tony is facing bankruptcy and he is an addictive gambler. He owes £100,000 to two casino owners who are putting on the pressure of threats of violence. If only Megan were to get the part Tony would be able to settle his debts, get out of trouble and become rich beyond his dreams !
Would fear of the future entice Tony to Kill ?
.
.
  Mike Richards
Mike is a really nasty piece of work. He is Dawn's husband. Since they married 4 years ago he has become a drug addict, as well as a drug pusher. His police record is long and he has been to prison. Over the last two years Mike has become mentally unstable and violent towards Dawn of whom he is insanely jealous. Dawn has recently left him and suing for divorce. He knows Dawn has formed an intimate relationship with one of the American producers of the film. Mike is somewhere in the Audience.
Would jealousy of his wife having another man, and his wife's coming fame totally turn his mind to the darkest deed of all?
Why did he come tonight ?
.
.
  The Waitress
What part does she play in tonight's happenings? Is she guilty or an innocent party ?
Is she what she seems, or is she mysterious?
.
.
  The Doctor
Surely a medical man can have no hand in events, or can he?
Is he as innocent as he seems?
.
.
  Detective Sergeant Coates
Sergeant Coates of the local CID has just won £1000 on the lottery. He spent £100 of it to bring his wife for a dinner cabaret here at the Savoy hotel to celebrate their wedding anniversary. He came as he thought "off duty" but suddenly he alone has to solve a mystery. He want promotion in the force and if he can arrest the murderer and solve the crime before senior officers appear it would appear it will bode well for his career.

The Hooray Girl Act is described as the UK's Only Musical Murder Mystery "Whodunit"
