Malta Team Activities and Experiences

Cooking Challenge
o Ideally for a group activity of up to 30 pax where we split delegates into teams. The teams are given a budget within which to operate. They will need to choose a menu and to cook it. Points will be given for sticking within the budget, the creativity of the menu produced, the presentation and of course… the quality of the food. Indeed… was it edible???

Wine Tasting
o Over the last decade Maltese wines have gone a long way. This is a great way of discovering how Malta’s wines have come about and their ancient origin as told by the man who revived it all himself!

Sight Seeing
o Malta’s history, culture and architecture are notorious as recently noted by Laurence Llewelyn Bowen in his BBC holiday programme. Locations not to be missed include our UNESCO World Heritage capital city of Valletta, our Megalithic Temples that predate the Pyramids and medieval Mdina with its delightful streets. Time permitting, the sister island of Gozo qualifies as a must too!

Abseiling & Aerial Ropeways
o This is a hot favourite with those delegates who need an adrenaline rush! Scaling down Malta’s cliffs or flying on a rope in between them would leave anyone totally speechless for at least 5 minutes! Give it a go!

Sailing Regatta
o If there’s anyone with a love of the sea, this is a must. Sailing is a huge sport here with some of the major Mediterranean races taking place in Malta. A great way to discover some camaraderie and the delightful Maltese archipelago with a peppering of competitive spirit thrown in for good measure!

Bread Making
o Malta’s bakers and bakeries are quite notorious. This is an opportunity to visit one of our little villages which has the largest number of bakers. History tells us that the reason why there are so many bakers in this village is because in the 14th & 15th centuries it was marshland and smoke from all the chimneys would keep deadly mosquitoes at bay! Try your hand at the technique of actually making a Maltese loaf.

Flying a Plane based on the 45 minute flight
o Our very own little school offers the possibility of learning to fly a plane. This activity can rotate a maximum of 60 pax in a day and can include a short trip to Sicily too.

Biking
o This is a great way to discover the islands! The slow-motion effect of biking leaves our delegates with the time to really take in the landscape of the islands, its sweet scents and flavours and to tune in to the local way of life… Ride by fields of freshly picked tomatoes, watch an old woman make lace on her doorstep, take in the marvelous valleys and the unique salt pans whilst whizzing past an ancient church…

Speed Boat Treasure Trail
o After coming all the way to Malta missing out on the sea would be criminal! Our speedboat treasure trail is a fab way to see all three islands in a very short space of time whilst making the most of all the beauty spots!
