LEVI-KEMI 4 NIGHTS / 5 DAYS

This tour is full of fun and active program – snowmobile driving, skiing, nature, dancing, relaxing and as a highlight – cruise onboard Sampo Ice Breaker and swimming in the frozen sea.

Day 1 Arrival to Kittilä airport. Your program starts with welcome ceremony with Lappish hosts who will perform the magical Arctic Circle Crossing ceremony for you. Next you will get into thermal suits and helmets and start your transfer to your hotel at Levi by snowmobiles after short introduction to snowmobile driving.

At the hotel hot sauna and drinks are waiting for you.

Welcome dinner is arranged at Tuikku restaurant – at the top of Levitunturi – fell. What a view it is!

Accommodation at luxurious Tähtipuisto or White Reindeer apartments. 

Day 2 Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Today you will learn how to make snow sculptures - most imaginative and fast team wins. Lunch is arranged by open fire.

In the afternoon visit to the reindeer farm where you can acquire your own Reindeer Driver’s Licence if you pass the test. Reindeers have their own mind so it is not so easy to steer them….

Dinner and live music according to your taste at Crazy Reindeer Areena.

Day 3 Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

Today is a day for snow activities. Ski instructors will be available for lessons at cross country or down hill skiing and free ski passes are given to those who are already waiting to get up there and enjoy the speed. Enjoy pleasant slopes varying from family slopes to those for more advanced skiers. Ski lifts are top quality and also Finland’s only gondola ski lift is here at Levi.

Tonight relax and swim at the Levitunturi Spa or take a massage. Dinner is served at the hotel.

Day 4 Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

This morning transfer to Kemi by private motor coach.

On arrival to Kemi get into snowsuits again and start your safari straight onto the frozen sea, where suddenly you meet huge ice breaker Sampo. Please get onboard, invites the captain of the ship who will tour you around the ice breaker. His chef will provide you with hot salmon soup. After the lunch you can dip in the frozen sea in a dry suit provided from the ship. After this experience you are ready to toast champagne to the marvellous sunset and breath taking nature around you.

Your farewell dinner will take place at Hullun Mylly restaurant, but before that you will enjoy predinner drinks at the ice bar of the Kemi Snow Castle. You will get a tour around the premises – snow church, snow restaurant, snow art gallery and snow hotel – all made of snow and ice ! If you wish, you can also stay the night at the snow hotel’s snow rooms, lying comfortably inside a thermal sleeping bag and reindeer hide.

Theme for tonight’s dinner is Finnish Tango – your Tango instructor will show you how to dance this marvellous but difficult dance, related to the Argentinian tango.

Day 5 Buffet breakfast at the Merihovi hotel

Transfer to the airport, where Santa Claus is meeting you just before departure to give you a pre Christmas gift.

Tour available from mid February till mid April as such. Tour without the Kemi Snow castle is possible already from mid December.
