Why do so many events differ in price?

The secret is finding a venue that offers the right rate. Quite often, its not the event that fluctuates in price but the venue's own rates charged for room hire, otherwise known as a daily delegate rate (DDR). The DDR may vary between £35 per person to over £100 per person. These rates vary due to venue location, star rating and of course the venues own pre-set rates.. When you are talking about twenty, thirty or more delegates, its not hard to see where this saving can be made, by either negotiating or even looking to consider an alternative venue at a cheaper price.


Factors that influence the price for things like team building & conference events are mainly (1) Location, (2) Total Number of People, (3) Duration of event being staged/hosted (4) Time of year the event is being held, and of course... (5) Client Budget... As we are used to sourcing suitable venues and negotiating special rates on behalf of all clients, often when selecting multiple activities, it may be more economical for Funevents.Com to offer a fix cost within a given package, thus offering one price. All final costs will be based on per person costs excluding VAT (Please note, that Its our buying power that always enables you to get the best price !)

We thought that we don't need your service anymore, as you provided what "we" needed on your web site. . .

But... why did our event fall flat . . .?

Our office is always helpful in offering assistance to anyone planning an event regardless of location. We do remind everyone to note:... "Having the right ingredients to make a cake does not guarantee its perfection !". Planning large scale events are a little similar in that without someone to co-ordinate the whole project, you will often have (from our experience) a mix of timings between with artistes, performers, production teams and even set designers who will no doubtlessly be helplessly looking at someone on-site for some kind of event direction. There is a good reason we have many repeat clients that trust us.

Do you have an On-line Web site where I may see various travel packages for our group and does this contain any special rates ?

We like many other professional event advisors do carry an on-line search facility where you can get access to various worldwide travel packages at special rates. Travel Insurance

Who is responsible for Travel & Event Insurance for our group or does Insurance get included in your final costs ?

Travel and Event Insurance is compulsory on all Funevents.Com trips and is a condition of booking with all travel itineraries designed via Funevents.Com. Please note that we do not include these costs within any proposal. Therefore, you are strongly recommended your office looki in to this and take out a event cancellation insurance policy at time of confirming any booking. This will cover cancellation penalties. (note: such insurance will not cover a change of mind). When selecting a travel insurance policy we require that at a minimum you are covered for medical expenses including emergency repatriation. We strongly recommend that the policy also covers personal liability, cancellation, curtailment and loss of luggage and personal effects.

For individuals travelling within a group, copies of individual insurance policies will need to be made available by your leader at the start of your trip. Failure to do so may mean exclusion from the trip. Please ensure you have your policy number and emergency telephone number for your insurance company. If this is unavailable please ensure you have the necessary information required by your Insurance company in case of an emergency. We are happy to recommend an contact for Travel Insurance.
